Barry Grant, CPA Shareholder

Barry Grant is one of the founding shareholders of Grant, Millman & Johnson and has over 48 years of public accounting experience. He founded Grant & Millman with Larry Millman in 1984 after spending 18 years as a Partner at another firm. Barry specializes in providing services to closely held businesses, and his background includes substantial experience in tax planning, preparation and compliance, business consulting, business acquisitions and financial planning.

Barry holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Wayne State University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. Barry focuses on building relationships and trust with his clients, and has represented several clients for over 40 years. As an accountant and advisor to his clients, he strives to help them build their wealth and plan for their financial security.

Outside of the office, Barry is a past President and member for more than forty years of the Old Newsboys Goodfellow Fund of Detroit charitable organization. He is also a founding board member of the Jack’s Place for Autism Foundation. Barry has been married for over 40 years and has 2 children and 2 grandchildren. His hobbies include travel, golf, reading mystery novels and following his favorite sports teams.
